There were a number of wonderful purchases made in December, so many that I am slowing down tremendously over the next few months. I am not stopping by any stretch, but I am shifting the focus of my acquisitions from giant Japanese dream pieces that I've been coveting for decades to plugging holes in my G1 packaging list. So, enjoy this quick recap of my December gains - I sure did!

Legends Jazz -
The G1 Legends figures an oddity for their time. They were exclusive to K-Mart, and featured the 1987/8 digital explosion card background with the 1989 logo typeface. They also included the decals for their Pretender shells, for which these figures served as the inner robots. The instructions were modified to find places for the extra decals. I only have one left to find sealed, that being Grimlock. |

The Seacons have a special place in my heart, as they were the first combiner team I completed, back on X-mas, 1988. King Poseidon here is the Japanese version of the team, and came packaged individually and in this very pretty gift set.
